Every POS KING hardware unit ships with a standard 1-year limited warranty, with optional extended coverage. Software subscriptions include continuous updates and 24/7 support throughout the term.
Hardware coverage
POS terminals, kiosks, KDS displays, printers, cash drawers and scanners purchased from POS KING are covered against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery. Repairs or replacements are handled by our Vancouver and Toronto teams — no overseas shipping.
Software & cloud services
Active subscriptions receive feature updates, security patches and unlimited bilingual support. Service uptime target is 99.9%. Data is backed up nightly and retained per your subscription tier.
Extended warranty
Optional 2-year and 3-year extended hardware coverage is available at the time of purchase or before the standard warranty expires. Includes priority replacement and on-site swap within the Lower Mainland and the GTA.
How to make a claim
Call our 24/7 emergency line or email support. Most issues are diagnosed remotely within minutes. If hardware replacement is required, we ship or hand-deliver a unit and recover the original — your business keeps running.
What's not covered
- Abuse, improper use, negligence, accident or unauthorized modification.
- Failure to follow operating procedures in the user manual or maintenance procedures in the service manual.
- Repair attempted by non-qualified personnel.
- Operation outside published environmental and electrical parameters (temperature, humidity, voltage).
- Products with defaced, altered or removed original identification (trademark or serial number).
- Used products not originally sold by POS KING to the purchaser.
